ROCK COUNTY — Severe flooding in Iowa and Wisconsin is having a negative impact on blood supplies for the American Red Cross.
Regional Blood Drive Coordinator, Tammy Newberry, says Iowa is the hardest hit. While Wisconsin blood drives haven’t been canceled yet, Newberry says people affected may not be able to, or have the time to donate.
The next blood drives in this area are Saturday from 9:00 to 1:00 at the Beloit chapter office, and on Monday from 11:00 to 3:00 at the Janesville chapter office. Edgerton and Evansville hold blood drives later this month.
